Beginnings

If someone would have told me a year ago that I'd have the opportunity to re-purpose and create furniture out of my home as a business, I would have had a hard time believing them. This "job" has been a long time dream of mine. I have enjoyed diy, up-cycling, creating, and re-making many things over the years, but it has always been for my own home. What a joy it has been to finally take a risk and put myself out there as a diy artist. I am so thankful to a very dear friend over at Sola Hus, who encouraged me to take the leap. It has been so rewarding!!

So, with that said, here is a look back at a few pieces that I am really proud of.
Come and check me out on my facebook page to see what's new!!

Vintage White & Cherry Stained Side Table.
One of my favorites from this past year.

Turquoise and Lime Green Desk.

So sweet!! I fell in love with this adorable highchair. So glad it found a good home :)!!

Bali Bliss Painted Queen Size Headboard - still available ($149). For now it has found a home in our guestroom :).

Vintage White & Tophat Black Side Table. Classy!!

I would say that this was my #1 favorite project of this year. This beauty dated and in need of some major updating when it arrived at "The Shop". It truly is amazing what a little love and chalk paint can do!!

Another favorite!! The clean lines and geometric printed FABRIC backsplash get me every time!!

Old White painted coffee table turns bench/ottoman with a little upholstered love (This is a mid-project picture. How did I forget to take a finished product picture?!)

Light Blue and Red....one of my favorite color combos.

The one that got away!! I still can't believe I let this one go. So glad the lovely lady who bought this lovely rack loved her as much as I did!!

I'm convinced that neutral, classic colors are making a come-back!

Red....I love a little pop of red :)!

Houndstooth...be still my heart. One of my favorites!!

Yellow Mid-century dresser. One of my first "public" pieces.

There you have it, Friends!!  Keep your eye out for a new blog full of tips, tutorials, and of course before and afters!!
